STOP THE CRITICISM

The Church of JESUS CHRIST is spiritual, only those who have accepted the Lordship of Christ into their lives are registered in heaven as members of Christ's body, they are God's representatives on earth. God raised men as gifts to the Church according to Ephesians 4:11, for the maturing of the believers, to enable them do the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, until will all come to the unity of the faith.

In all the gifts and ministries given to many in the Church by God, there is no place where God gave anyone the ministry of criticism, no where.
We need to be cautious in our zeal to avoid stepping over the boundaries. If all you do everyday is to look out for what to criticise in other churches and ministries, then you have no message

Have you ever won a soul, nurtured and matured them in Christ  ? If you have, then you will understand that ministry is no child's play.
Do you remember the parable of the wheat and tares as explained by Christ Himself, (Matt 13:24-30), He said the moment wheats are planted, an enemy will definitely sow tares among the wheat to bring confusion, and the servants must not try to uproot the tares in their zeal, because they may end up uprooting the wheat unknowingly. Then He said, we should allow both to grow, that at the end of time, He will separate them Himself. He knows the work better than us.

What He kept us here to do is to PREACH THE GOSPEL to all creature, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the HolyGhost, then teaching them to observe all things whatsoever He has commanded us, and He said He is with us always, even to the end of the age, Amen (Matt 28:19-20)

The question is, are you doing that ?
Let us stop these infighting, fighting one another, criticizing each other, publicly making mockery of servants of God because we don't like them, STOP THE CRITICISM,  focus on your assignment , every man's work will be tried by fire, and judgement is not in your hands, that is God's office, stop playing God for Him, it's not your assignment.

If each of us will concentrate on our assignment of discipline Nation's, we would have less time to be criticizing others, face your work, teach the people God's word, help them grow, stop poisoning their minds against the Church of JESUS CHRIST, allow Christ to build His Church, she belongs to Him, not us

There are people who laboured for this gospel before we came on the scene, these are Fathers in the faith who sacrificed their comfort, went through near death experiences to preserve the gospel for us, stop fighting them, Respect their office as God's mouthpiece for our generation, they are God's ministers, not yours. Did you know that the Bible says we should not criticise another man's servant, that His master is able to keep him, please rethink, retreat and return to your assignment, PREACH, TEACH THE WORD.

I know you now have revelation, you now have a higher knowledge, you are now more "exposed" than others, but remember, we do not encourage a child to look down on his parents because they have acquired higher education, there is a place for such a child, don't be like that.

May be you have been hurt by a supposed minister of God, they disappointed you, you are now angry with the Church of Christ, but are you now going to fight against Christ and His Church because of an offence from one of His servants, is that what you want to do?

Ah, my brother, my sister, please forgive, forgive the offence, the hurt, free yourself, JESUS is still building His Church, evil will never prevail against her, let Love rule and lead us, we are safe in the hands of Love, GOD IS LOVE

GROWING IN SPIRITUALITY

The bible shows us that spiritual growth is possible and God desires that His children develop their spiritual life consistently. In 1st John 2:12-14, the bible reveals to us that it's either you are a child, a young man or a father. These three levels can easily be seen manifested in people's lives by the things they say, do and how they live. The world we live in is antagonistic to true spirituality in Christ. That is why you face some kind of rejection the moment you accept Christ into your life, some celebrate with you, while some are used by the enemy to persecute you. You only stand the chance of overcoming the trials by being prepared through adequate intake of GOD'S word continually. This is indispensable if you are going to grow spiritually.

The word of GOD is the spiritual nutrition that guarantees increase in the human spirit. If you are not born again, your spirit man is still functioning in darkness, but the moment you receive JESUS into your life, light comes, you become ALIVE in HIM. Though you are now saved, you must grow from that point to a higher realm where you can function in absolute mastery in the things of GOD. It is possible.

The first level is called BABYHOOD STAGE. This is who you are as a new believer in Christ. Though you may be an adult physically, the moment you come into Christ, you become a babe in Christ that needs to learn the rudiments of the Christian life. So, you submit to spiritual authority in the church where you will be discipled.

In 1st John 2:12, the bible shows us that the first battle of the new believer is sin. The enemy would want to use the guilt of sin to make him feel inadequate for GOD'S grace. That is why John says to them in that scripture that their sins have been forgiven by GOD, so no more condemnation. The new believer must believe GOD's word of JUSTIFICATION in order to silence the enemies voice of condemnation.

Justification in Christ means that your sins has been buried with JESUS in the grave, when he died, it was our sins he died for, that was the end of the judgement of our sin, they have been buried with Christ, when God raised JESUS from the dead, He raised Him as a NEW CREATION without sin, now anyone who believes in Him becomes like Him, a new creation, old things are gone, all things are NEW Hallelujah!

In Christ now, we are JUSTIFIED, meaning we are not guilty, our sins and it's consequences were laid on JESUS, and you don't die for sin twice, He died once and for all for our sin, now we are free.
Say this out loud "I AM FREE IN CHRIST".

While you are functioning this way, you should also start learning through GOD'S word on how to live above your past sinful lifestyle and habit by replacing them with new ones. Replace gossip with prayer, replace immorality with a lifestyle of worship and soulwinning etc, this way, your life takes an entirely new turn for glory and virtue. Go for it, you are winning.

The second level is called the ADOLESCENT STAGE. This is when the Bible calls you a young man. If you look at that scripture in 1st John 2:13,14, you will see that John kept reminding the young men that they have overcome the wicked one (the devil). This is the stage where demonic forces seems to be unleached against an individual and making his prayer full of demon consciousness but GOD is saying to you at that stage, "You have overcome already". In essence, don't fear, the enemy is a defeated foe. You will have to meditate on these scriptures to maintain your victory. Remember, greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world (1st John 4:4)

The third stage is the FATHERHOOD STAGE. At this point, which doesn't come in a day but after years of walking with GOD consistently, you don't fear anymore, you are now helping others live victoriously. You have come to know the father, you have matured in Him, no more struggles, you no longer serve GOD for what you will get but for who He is and what service you can render. You have settled in Him, you have come to a 'knowing'. You no longer talk carelessly, your words at this stage is controlled by the word of GOD.This is where GOD want to bring all of us. No matter where you are today, you will reach there in JESUS name. Just keep pressing on and in, through His word. You will arrive well.

GOD IS THE GREATEST

There is something I think we must let sink deep into our minds, never compare our God with the devil, NEVER ! Many times, because some people grew up in an environment where demonic activities are prevalent, they now ascribe so much strength to the enemy, but read your bible, you will see the true picture of things for yourself.

When the devil rebelled in heaven, God did not fight him, that will be giving him too much attention, it was Angel Michael that handled him and threw him out of heaven (Rev. 12:7,8). If you read Revelation 20:1-3, you will see that at the end of time, Satan will be arrested and cast into the bottomless pit by just one Angel, just ONE ANGEL, and the bible tells us in Hebrews 12:24,25, that God's Angels are innumerable, uncountable.

Why should we fear the enemy, they should be afraid of us.

These are the Angels that have been assigned by Jehovah to guard and protect His own, you can see we outnumbered the enemy.
Today, I encourage you to keep your gaze on JESUS, He is the one that lives in us by His Spirit, He has promised that He will never leave us or forsake us, so that we can boldly declare that The Lord is our helper and we will never fear what man can do unto us. May your faith in God remain active always in JESUS NAME !

PROTECT YOUR MIND II

In continuation to my last post on HOW TO PROTECT YOUR MIND, I would want to let you know that the first thing to do is hand over the control of your life to JESUS completely by accepting His Lordship over your life. The greatest influence over a man's life comes from within him; his spirit. The enemy knows that a man without Christ in his heart will be ruled by his senses, so, it will be very easy to manipulate him from the external. Right now, say this prayer from your heart; Lord JESUS, I surrender to you today, I believe you died for my sins, you rose from the dead to justify me freely in your site, I accept you today as my Lord and Saviour, Thank you JESUS.
The moment you say this sincerely from your heart, you become a child of GOD, welcome to GOD'S family.
MEDITATE ON GOD'S WORD
This will help you feed your spirit with more of God's word; meditation. It will make your mind SEE pictures of God's word, do it continually and talk the word out loudly, it will help you.
AVOID WATCHING PORNOGRAPHY
Your eyes are the inlet to your life, so, be careful what you watch with them, avoid dirty pictures and movies, it's for your good
STAY AROUND GODLY PEOPLE
Your friends can either add to you or deduct from you, so, be careful who you hang around with. Birds of identical plumage perambulates along similar corrigendum. (Birds of the same feather, flocks together) Choose your friends.
PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS ALWAYS
This is a weapon you must engage always whenever your mind is attacked by defiling thoughts, plead the blood of JESUS over your mind, it will bless you. God bless you

HOW TO PROTECT YOUR MIND

The mind is that part of a person that helps them think, reason, imagine, plan, visualize things. It is so important in our lives that without it, a person will be useless, unprofitable, unproductive in life. In the world we live in today, many of the things we see around us are the products of the human mind; the houses, cars, electronics, books, movies, music, etc. Many inventions of the human mind goes a long way to influence the mind of others in our society, e.g the music we listen to, the movies we watch, the books we read, all shapes our mind in one form or the other.

This topic is so important that GOD himself had to warn us about how we use our mind because man has the capacity to visualize or create what could kill him. In Genesis 6:5, the bible tells us that" God saw the wickedness of man in the earth and that every imagination of the thought of his heart was only evil continually". This goes a long way to show us that man's imagination is connected to the content of his heart. The heart, which is the spirit of man, gets it's contents from what man thinks of continually. When he thinks enough or meditate on a thing long enough, his heart receives those things as a file which is stored in him for future use. This will in turn affect the things he says because the bible says in Matthew 12:34b that "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh"

This now makes us know that your mind thinks and your thinking affects your heart, your heart affects your tongue (what you say), your tongue affects your action, your action affects your habit, your habit affects your decision and your decisions affects your future. This is instructive and makes us see why we must protect our mind from negative and destructive influences. Every human being have the capacity to do great things in life and also have the capacity to cause havoc to the society depending on how he or she utilises the mind. 

Have you ever wondered why a young man will pick up a gun, enter a school and open up fire to kill others or have you thought about why a young lady will suddenly submit her body for immoral use ? The answer is in the mind. They have been thinking about it, consciously or unconsciously without realising the strong influence their thoughts have on them. Let me ask you, what occupies your mind, what is your waking thought daily ? If you can answer these questions correctly, it will give you a clue of where your life is headed to. 

Always remember, things don't just happen. Whatever we do today, started as a thought before it became an action. The question we should be asking ourselves is how can I protect my mind and influence me positively ? Don't go about looking for who to influence without first conquering yourself, your mind, because leadership is about influencing others with what you have invested into yourself overtime. What and how can we go about it ?

AVOIDING SEXUAL TRAPS

The times we live in is such a critical time that sex has become a tool in influencing the society, families and also individuals. Sex has been used in different sectors to make people do what they may never do ordinarily. It is used in music, it is used in movies, It is used in the advertising of products and surprisingly, it is used in some "churches". It has become a selling point for many and it has ruined many lives. If you are a student of the bible, you will know that GOD has already said that all these will happen in the days we live in. This you will see in Matthew 24:12, Rev 18:1-5. The question is, why is sex being used to ruin lives by the enemy ? The reason is because of the implications of sexual impurity. GOD created sex for a purpose, but when purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable.
Purpose:
(1) For pleasure within marriage relationship.
(2) For the creation of bonding with your spouse.
(3) To avoid immorality outside marriage.
(4) For procreation, reproduction.

What we are looking at here is how to avoid SEXUAL TRAPS. The Lord will help you in JESUS name. The story of Joseph in the bible is a typical story of how anybody can successfully avoid such traps. Many mentioned in the bible could not escape it, David was almost ruined by it, Samson was slain by it but you will escape in JESUS name.
The reasons you must avoid sexual traps are, (1) Sexual sin is a sin against ones body. (1st Cor.6:18)
(2) Your body is GOD'S temple, sexual sin defiles it. (1st Cor 6:19 )
(3) Sexual sin brings you into unholy soul tie with whoever you do it with thereby exposing you to manipulations because your bodies have become one. (1st Cor 6:15,16)
(4) Your body was not made for sexual immorality, but for the Lord. So those who engage in it are working against GOD'S plan (1st Cor 6:13,14)
(5) Sexual sins have the capacity to damn the soul and if not repented of, will destroy the individual. (1st Cor 6:9-10)
(6) Those who defile GOD'S temple come under GOD'S judgement (1st Cor 3:16,17,)
(7) The consequences of sexual sins are so grievous that it can affect one's family, like the case of David, the king, who experienced terrible things after he fell into it; His own son later committed incest with his daughter, His son killed his brother, his son later committed immorality with his wives, and eventually tried to kill him, the king.
Please, I plead with you, stay away from sexual sins. The bible says it turns people into loaves of bread and those who do it are not wise. (Proverbs 6:26,32,33)
What to do:
(1) You must first surrender to the one who alone can save you from sin and cleanse you from your past sinful lifestyle; JESUS CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD, accept Him as your Lord and saviour today by praying thus; Lord JESUS, I surrender to you now, I am a sinner, I give you my life, wash me with your blood, I believe you were raised from the dead, be my Lord and saviour, Amen.
(2) Stay away from tempting environments and people.
(3) Make new friends that will inspire you for righteousness.
(4) Develop a consistent prayer life, and continually meditate on the word of GOD.
(5) Strongly refuse sexual advances from those who seduce you directly or indirectly.
(6) Avoid watching pornographic materials and listening to seductive music that builds images of sex in your mind. It is dangerous.
(7) Belong to a community of believers who will encourage you in sexual purity.
     Your life is precious, your destiny is glorious, do not let it be thwarted by temporary pleasure.
